In this week’s Parents Talk at Ames Patch, the question is “How much television do you let your children watch?” Jessica Miller writes:
Breaks from school are always a tough one in our house. Like this week, I know the kids will be bouncing off the walls. Despite all the new toys and games they have to play with, inevitably someone will whine that they’re bored and want to watch television. And you know what? I will probably give in.
Miller raises a great point that we often hear from parents. When school is out, parents could use a hand. We’ve been talking a lot about the “Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Take Control” which provides some tips during this time of year – check it out.
